Sophia Rintell, B.A., is a research assistant at the Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College, where she works with Tracy Gladstone, Ph.D., on depression prevention research projects.

Rintell conducts educational sessions and clinical assessments with middle and high school students in English and Spanish as part of a depression screening program. Rintell also assists with assessing and enrolling study participants; assists with writing literature reviews, manuscripts, and reports; conducts data analysis; supervises Wellesley College student interns; and contributes to the development of multiple depression prevention programs. Prior to joining WCW, Rintell received her B.A. from Bates College in Sociology. In her free time, Rintell enjoys serving as a volunteer assistant coach with the Wellesley College rowing team.
