Global Connections

This past February, the Wellesley Centers for Women (WCW) welcomed guests from Peking University (PU). The visitors were: Wang Chunmei, vice director of Women’s Studies Center (WSC) of PU and professor of History; Sun Li, vice director of WSC and vice chair of Labor Union of PU; Wei Guoying, executive director of WSC of PU and chief editor of Journal of Peking University, and Tao Jie, a former visiting international scholar at WCW, the vice director of WSC at PU, and professor of English. The guests met with several WCW research and program staff, as well as Wellesley College faculty and staff, to learn about current work as well as share details of initiatives they are leading in China.
