Directions to WCW

Staff members of the Wellesley Centers for Women work in three buildings on the Wellesley College campus in Wellesley, Massachusetts — Cheever House, the Stone Center, and Waban House. Cheever House and Waban House are on Route 16 (Washington Street), slightly west of campus; the Stone Center is located on the main campus of Wellesley College.

(Please use the street address listed below for the appropriate building if using GPS; DO NOT use the College default address.)

From Greater Boston...

To reach us from the north and south:
Take Route 95/128 and exit at the Route 16 exit (Exit 21B). Drive west on Route 16 until you pass the Wellesley Free Library on your left (about 2.9 miles). Get in the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the five-way intersection, continuing on Route 16 (Washington Street) past the Village Church on the right. Follow the directions below to each building.

From the west:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike east to Exit 15 (Weston, Route 95/128).Take Route 95/128 south and take the Route 16 exit (Exit 21B). Drive west on Route 16 until you pass the Wellesley Free Library on your left (about 2.9 miles). Get in the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the five-way intersection, continuing on Route 16 (Washington Street) past the Village Church on the right. Follow the directions below to each building.

From Boston/east:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike west to Exit 15 (Weston, Route 95/128). Take Route 95/128 south and get off at the Route 16 exit (Exit 21B). Drive west on Route 16 until you pass the Wellesley Free Library on your left (about 2.9 miles). Get in the left lane and turn left at the traffic light at the five-way intersection, continuing on Route 16 (Washington Street) past the Village Church on the right. Follow the directions below to each building.

CHEEVER HOUSE: 828 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA 02482
Cheever houseFollow directions above. From the traffic light at the five-way intersection in the center of town, continue just over 1 mile west on Route 16 (Washington Street), past the College entrance (on your right) and past Waban House (on your left). Look for a sign in wooded area by a low stone wall on the left (hidden entrance) at 828 Washington Street. Parking is at the end of the driveway to the left of the building. View map.

 

STONE CENTER: Wellesley College Campus, 106 Central Street, Wellesley, MA 02482
Stone CenterFollow directions above. From the traffic light in the center of town at the five-way intersection, continue west on Route 16 about 0.5 miles and turn right at the motor entrance to Wellesley College. Take the second road on the right. The Stone Center is the first building on the left, but continue straight a short distance to the parking lot (also on the left). Waban HouseFollow directions above. From the traffic light at the five-way intersection in the center of town, turn left on Route 16 and continue west about 0.7miles on Route 16 (Washington Street).
