This syllabus and sample lesson plans are for a Two-Generation Classroom version of a college-level children’s literature course. The Two-Generation Classroom is an evidence-based approach to undergraduate curricula through which student parents partner with children to learn together. This course examines the genre of children’s literature as well as literature for young adults from a variety of literary, historical, social, and cultural perspectives.
