This report provides an evaluation of the first year of the Ready Educators Quality Improvement Pilot (REQIP) which works to help achieve the goal that “all children start school ready to learn.” REQIP gives technical assistance and support to early education and child care programs in centers and family child care homes that serve children from birth to five years old. Dr. Marshall summarizes the successes and lessons learned from the initial year of this important project.
