U.S. business is currently planning strategies to recruit and develop top corporate managers. Although women have progressed with only minimum help, findings of a current research project--presented in this paper--suggest that contemporary human resource development approaches, coupled with strong commitment by top management, will accelerate the achievement of greater representation of women in senior-level positions.
