This article discusses the increasing prevalence and violence of incidents of sexual harassment in K-12 schools. Data on this topic is difficult to obtain--incidents often go unreported or categorized as physical violence. When this occurs, or sexual violence is reported as "bullying," the illegal nature of the incident is undermined and potential liability is deflected.
