Megan Yorsz is a research assistant/pre-doctoral fellow at the Wellesley Centers for Women, working for Senior Research Scientist Sari Pekkala Kerr, Ph.D., on projects pertaining to the economics of minimum wage and social mobility. In this capacity, she utilizes major firm and person-level Census Bureau data at the Federal Research Data Center in Cambridge, MA.

Yorsz graduated from Colby College in 2024, double-majoring in economics and government. During her last year at Colby, she served as a research assistant in economics, working on a project on behavioral economics and productive technology. In her semester abroad in Stockholm, she worked as a research assistant at DIS, studying the ramifications of the illicit organ trade in healthcare. At Colby, she was a teaching assistant for several professors in microeconomic theory courses. She has a passion for econometric analysis, which she plans to pursue at WCW and further in her career.
