Date: Thursday, January 28 • 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET
Location: Virtual

Betsy Nordell, Ed.D., Avoiding Burnout: How Exemplary Teachers Find Fuel and Cultivate Success

This webinar's focus is educator wellbeing. Now more than ever, we need to honor the complexity of educational work and share ideas for self-renewal. Since there is no one "right" way, during this 1-hour workshop you will learn how other educators cultivate the strength to persist in this field and create personalized tools for your own experimentation. With that in mind, please bring 6 sheets of paper and have a pencil or pen handy. The ideas offered arise from Dr. Betsy Nordell's recently published book Avoiding Burnout: How Exemplary Teachers Find Fuel and Cultivate Success.

Betsy Nordell, Ed.D., is a former classroom teacher and current teacher educator with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of educational settings. Since 1993, she has been teaching and coaching administrators and teachers with Open Circle, a program of the Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College. Learn more about her work and her newly published book at betsynordell.com

This program will be recorded and sent to all registrants. The program is open to the first 500 registrants. Please send questions about this program to wcw@wellesley.edu
