Hauwa Ibrahim Appointed Into Paris-based Global Information and Democracy Commission

Hauwa Ibrahim, M.L., has been appointed to the Global Information and Democracy Commission, an independent council created to the political and corporate control of information in a globalized public space. The Commission’s members range from leading journalists, scholars, and politicians, and the group will convene in Paris. Hauwa Ibrahim is an international human rights attorney and visiting scholar at the Wellesley Centers for Women who is currently researching the root causes of terrorism, youth radicalization, and cooperation between religious and non-religious communities.
