Expert: Be bullish on bullying
Coeur d'Alene Press Nan Stein, senior research scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, warns that pretending bullying doesn’t exist in your school is a dangerous practice. The only way to put a dent into bullying is to “make the problem legitimate by bringing it up. The best strategy is to talk about the issue,” Stein added. And that is exactly what she is doing as part of a statewide campaign by the Idaho Human Rights Education Center. Read more |
