New program offers degree in after-school education
National Public Radio, All Things Considered Even as the number of after-school programs is increasing, the quality of the programs is threatened. A new program at Lesley University where the students can receive a Master’s degree in Out-of-School Time is combating high turnover rates and low wages in the profession. Ellen Gannet, co-director of the National Institute of Out-of-School Time at the Wellesley Centers for Women, praises this new program as a terrific beginning. Read more |
