Susan McGee Bailey has been selected as the 2004 Professional/Nonprofit Hall of Fame winner for her dedication to making a more gender equitable environment for everyone, her ability to make change happen, and her definitive place as a leader. “Often concerned people think that, once you’ve made some progress, then that’s all set and you can go on to the next thing,” Bailey says of her persistence, “but I think we have to be ever vigilant.”
