School believes social competency skills important part of children’s education
The Longmeadow News Providing children with a safe and structured learning environment is just as important to the educational process. The Heritage Academy in Longmeadow, MA, has started using the Open Circle Competency Program developed at the Wellesley Centers for Women, which recognizes the important roles relationships play in children’s academic and social success. Currently more than 5,600 teachers and 200,000 students throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey have participated in the program. |
