Officials lean to counteract bullying

In her keynote address at the Governor’s Conference on Bullying and Harassment in Ames, Iowa, Nan Stein, senior research scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, warned that zero-tolerance policies are too broad, affecting too many minority students and interfering with the professional judgment of teachers.
