Mixed race, mixed emotions
Arizona Republic There are an estimated 4.5 million children in the United States under the age of 18 that are multiracial and these children often face isolation from their peer groups. Michelle Porche, research scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, said “Coming to college often is the first time they even got to meet with other people who shared their same experiences.
