Lunchtime Seminar: Adolescent Trauma and Implications for Learning and Academic Achievement

Wellesley, MA–For the Spring 2008 Grace K. Baruch Memorial Lecture, Michelle Porche, senior research scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, and her colleague Dr. Lisa Fortuna will present a brief review of the literature on adolescent trauma and learning, followed by discussion of findings from two recently completed studies that investigate adolescent trauma and achievement as well as teacher response to working with students who have mental health concerns.
