Lunchtime Seminar: Battered Women's Continued Vulnerability to Intimate Partner Violence

March 8, 2007

Wellesley, MA- Battered women are not only vulnerable to further abuse by a given partner, but many are also vulnerable to abuse by multiple partners. In this presentation, Pamela Alexander, Research Scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women, describes the results of four different studies of battered women focusing on the identification of characteristics associated with ongoing vulnerability to intimate partner violence.

Lunchtime Seminar Series programs are free and open to the public. Held Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 in the Cheever House Library, the seminars highlight the work of Wellesley Centers for Women researchers and program staff. For more information, call 781.283.2500 or visit www.wcwonline.org.
