Teen Dating Violence as Public Health IssueChildren's Safety NetworkCSN Staff February 2012
The Children’s Safety Network published a special issue of their e-newsletter on teen dating violence in recognition of Congress’ designation of February as Teen Dating Violence and Prevention Awareness Month. The newsletter defines teen dating violence, shows how different states are implementing teen dating violence prevention programs, provides readers with dating violence hotlines, and cites several research projects and programs that focus on reducing teen dating violence. The program Shifting Boundaries: Lessons on Relationships for Students in Middle School, by Nan Stein, Ed.D., and Bruce Taylor, Ph.D., was cited in the newsletter as one of the current prevention programs. |
