Women's issues and media: Connecting the dots

In Brattleboro, Vermont, the Women's Crisis Center is teaming with Know Media, a media education nonprofit organization, to present Jean Kilbourne's Killing Us Softly 4 on September 28. Kilbourne has been working since the 1960s to raise awareness of the consequences of the objectification of women in advertising, such as alcohol and drug abuse, eating disorders, and gender violence.
