"Unmasking Whiteness: Exploring White Privilege," a series of events and films tackling racial injustice and white privilege, began September 22 at Guilford College. The series began with a showing of the film "Mirrors of Privilege," which features Peggy McIntosh, author of "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack." As McIntosh explains, "I have come to see white privilege as an invisible package of unearned assets which I can count on cashing in each day, but about which I was 'meant' to remain oblivious."
