As demographics change in the U.S., diversity within a law firm will provide a competitive advantage. In creating a diverse team, numbers matter. According to the Critical Mass Project report, having three or more women on a corporate board enhances board decsion-making by incorporating perspectives of multiple stakeholders, and allows each female member of the board to be treated as an individual, rather than as a representative of "the woman's point of view."
