YMCA evaluating afterschool program

The Springfield YMCA in Springfield, MA is using the National Instute on Out-of-School Time's Afterschool Program Assessment System (APAS) to evaluate their programs and staff with the goal of finding opportunities for improvement. As the program's school-age director Susan Cassidy stated, "We keep re-evaluating because programs change and staff change. This is how we stay on top of things." Read article.
