Lunchtime Seminar: The Ocean of Possibility: Lessons for Researchers Working with Communities of Color

Wellesley, MA- In this talk, Katherine Morrison, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Wellesley Centers for Women, will provide an overview of effective techniques and “lessons learned” for those who are interested in working with communities of color in order to elicit change. Morrison will give background information on the principles of community-based participatory research and community engagement, as well as examples from her own experiences in working with African-American communities on the topic of intimate partner violence.
