More parents are deciding to cut back their hours at the office to spend more time with their teenage children. This article references NIOST: "According to the National Institute on Out-of-School Time, unsupervised youths who spend no time in extracurricular activities are 49 percent more likely to use drugs and 37 percent more likely to become teenage parents."
